An accident we drove past on the freeway,

everyone was okay.

Mecca Club, my grandma Starich used to work here,

she used to make us a milkshake when we would come to visit.

The old Newhouse Hotel,

hope they are remodling and not tearing it down

We took dad up Spring Canyon for a drive to see some of the

old coal mines he used to work at

and the little town my mom was born, Raines.

Just past this was where we saw the devil worshipers,

they had a big fire, big robes with hoods,

walking around it and chanting something

when I was in High School.

Scared the crap out of us.

Parts of some old buildings

We used to go up there all the time when we were in

High School,

we used to get so scared!!!

They tried to build a resort up there, but ended up being busted for prostitution

This area was where dad worked.

He actually help build the big wall there made out of railroad ties

This was the entrance of the coal mine dad used to work.

It has been closed for years but you can still see the portal

The little building is where they used to keep the dynomite

I got out and went up to check out one of the buildings we used to think the

White Lady was.

Someone has demolished it

We had a great time taking dad for rides everynight and seeing some of the old places of my youth. I really did have a great childhood.
