Fights, Food and Fun...

UFC was on tonight and we were actually all off work...wow, that doesn't happen very often.
We had Matt's friend Bruce over and his mom Kathy.
We made sloppy joes, had some chips and some snacks.
Matt finally smiling and not flipping me off, hhahahaha, but his eyes are closed.

Bruce and Kathy

Pete and I
We love our blankets
Yes, that is my ironing in the background
Georges St Pierre and BJ Penn
Yeah, I was cheering for GSP
We always enjoy the fights, we have actually watched them since the first season of the Ultimate Fighter came out on TV.
We were in South Lake Tahoe at Stephen's parents condo, we had been sking all day, we stopped to eat and went back to the condo.
We were chillin, flipping channels, found the Ultimate Fighter and got hooked.
Season 8 just finished and we are looking forward to season 9.

Matt and his humor....

Matt found this web site and showed it to me the other night...we had a good laugh and I had to share most of the pictures.
Could you squat on this?
NOT

Yea this one not looking too good either, might be hard to potty train a little one, huh?

Women laughing...this one is kinda funny.
I guess if you are into music....
Funny, but pretty sure I would never use this one.
I guess you have to water the flowers somehow, hahahahaha
No, way. I am a little, okay alot more private.
And then the most bizarre one of all.
It has two pictures. The first one is what it looks like outside. And this is what it looks like from the inside.
It is made entirely of one-way glass.
Now again I ask you, Could you use this one?
Not in a million years...no way, no how.
I like my privacy, I would not even want the bathroom window in the front of the house.
I'm just sayin.

Thankful Thursday

I forgot to post this last week...not that I wasn't thankful.

I am thankful for:

Beautiful weather: I am one person that hates the rain. I love the sun and great weather.

New babies: I am so thankful all went well for Tyson, Sarah and baby Jack. New babies are so precious, they smell good and they just came from our Heavenly Father. I am sure baby Jack got lots of kisses from my mom.

Exercise equipment: Love the feeling of working out and looking forward to getting my treadmill.

Friends: I love my friends, they are such a great support and always there when you need them.

Clean socks: I love the smell after they have been washed and I love when they stay white.

My nephew Tyson and his girlfriend Sarah had their baby today.

HUMMMM...

Okay, I was blog hopping and found this great blog.
Good in Bed is a blog for LDS women to talk about sex,
ask questions and get fun ideas.
It is pretty interesting and alot of fun.
I know you are all going to check it out.
Mwahahahahha!!!

A good idea...

Jen sent me this picture back when she was in the Air Force and I was still working at Hillcrest.
I simply love it and wish I would have came up with the idea myself.
Heaven knows I could have used it.
I'm not naming names...I am just sayin.
I am just kidding, I would never do that.
I just thought it was cute.

Random pictures of awe...

Payback is a *itch.

One evening a Husband, thinking he was being funny, said to his wife, 'Perhaps we should start washing your clothes in 'Slim Fast'. Maybe it would take a few inches off of your butt!'
His wife was not amused, and decided that she simply couldn't let such a comment go unrewarded.
The next morning the husband took a pair of underwear out of his drawer. 'What the Hell is this?' he said to himself as a little 'dust' cloud appeared when he shook them out.
'April', he hollered into the bathroom, 'Why did you put Talcum Powder in my underwear?'
She replied with a snicker. 'It's not talcum powder; it's 'Miracle Grow'!!!!!!

Rainbow...

I was at work on Sunday, we were so busy the lines were really long and it was didn't stop until the store closed. Wow, what a day. I got to assist for my friend Amanda and we made a great team. We did have fun and we tried to get the customers through as quickly as possible.

It was getting close to closing time around 5:30 and I looked up from the checkstand to outside and saw the most beautiful rainbow. I just said out loud "look at the rainbow" everyone looked toward the door. I cannot explain how beautiful it was. The whole open part or the door was a rainbow. I was in awe of how beautiful nature is and how God has created such beauty. I just wanted to stand there and enjoy it. I was really mad I did not have my camera or even my phone on me. A co-worker, Ryan took these pictures with his phone and sent them to me. The pictures are beautiful but it was so much better to be there and to see it.

Happy Birthday

A big Happy Birthday out to my mom. She would have been 73 today.
I miss you but I also know you are with me often and cheering me on.
I hope you are visiting with loved ones, dancing and enjoying your day.
Love you and thank you for being the greatest example and always knowing the right things to say to make things better.
You are my strength and inspiration

What can I say...

I stole this from my aunt Claudia's blog. I thought it was hilarious.
PMS.....
Q: How many women with PMS does it take to change a light bulb?
Woman's Answer: One! ONLY ONE!!!! And do you know WHY? Because no one else in this house knows HOW to change a light bulb! They don't even know that the bulb is BURNED OUT!! They would sit in the dark for THREE DAYS before they figured it out. And, once they figured it out, they wouldn't be able to find the light bulbs despite the fact that they've been in the SAME CABINET for the past 17 YEARS! But if they did, by some miracle of God, actually find them, 2 DAYS LATER, the chair they dragged to stand on to change the STUPID light bulb would STILL BE IN THE SAME SPOT!!!!! AND UNDERNEATH IT WOULD BE THE WRAPPER THE LIGHT BULBS CAME IN!!! BECAUSE NO ONE EVER PICKS UP OR CARRIES OUT THE GARBAGE!!!! IT'S A WONDER WE HAVEN'T ALL SUFFOCATED FROM THE PILES OF GARBAGE THAT ARE A FOOT DEEP THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE!! IT WOULD TAKE AN ARMY TO CLEAN THIS PLACE! AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON WHO CHANGES THE TOILET PAPER ROLL !!

I'm sorry. What was the question?

All in a days work...

This is a funny story and I am not naming names but guess who the arresting officer was?

Cute Story...

Why Parents Drink
The boss wondered why one of his most valued employees was absent but had not phoned in sick one day. Needing to have an urgent problem with one of the main computers resolved, he dialed the employee's home phone number and was greeted with a child's whisper. 'Hello'
Is your daddy home?' he asked.'Yes' whispered the small voice.
May I talk with him?' The child whispered, 'No'
Surprised and wanting to talk with an adult, the boss asked, 'Is your Mommy there?' 'Yes'
''May I talk with her?' Again the small voice whispered, 'No'
Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the boss asked, 'Is anybody else there?' 'Yes' whispered the child, 'a policeman'.
'Wondering what a cop would be doing at his employee's home, the boss asked, 'May I speak with the policeman?' 'No, he's busy' whispered the child.
'Busy doing what?'' 'Talking to Daddy and Mommy and the Fireman' came the whispered answer.
Growing more worried as he heard a loud noise in the background through the earpiece on the phone, the boss asked, 'What is that noise?'' 'A helicopter' answered the whispering voice.
'What is going on there?' demanded the boss, now truly apprehensive.
Again, whispering, the child answered, 'The search team just landed a helicopter'
Alarmed, concerned and a little frustrated the boss asked, 'What are they searching for?'
Still whispering, the young voice replied with a muffled giggle... 'ME'

We had a nice day...

We have had some beautiful weather this week.
Pete went and played golf with some guys from work.
I slept in and went to exchange some jeans...yay, I had to get size 6.
I had Wendi take me to the golf course to pick Pete up.
We then headed to Sacramento, he had to go by a golf store to pick some stuff up and then we met his mom for dinner at the Olive Garden.
We had a nice dinner and then headed home.

Me at work...

My kids have never seen me at work, they just see me when I get home and I look like I have been beat up.
Mwahahahaha.
Anyway Matt had some errands to run the other day and he knew I was pushing carts so he dropped by to say hi.
I talked to him for a minute and we were both on our way.
Yea, I had to push carts, but it was a beautiful day and I only had to do carts for 5 hours.
I tried to have a positive attitude.
My best side? Very funny Matt.
At least I am not scheduled to do carts this week...Yippy!!!!!!!!!!

Finally...

Matt finally hooked up the Wii fit we got for Christmas.
It was really fun and had you working out without even realizing it.
After I stepped off the balance board I realized I was actually breathing heavy.
I can't wait to do more.
Bring it on!!!!!
