We decided to go to So Cal to pick Pete up from the Police and Fire Games. We thought we would make a trip out of it and visit my sister and take Layla to Disneyland. So off we went, Wendi and Layla fell asleep. Layla was such a good little travler.
We stopped right before we headed over the grapevine and let Layla run around
We stopped by Magic Mountain and met Pete for dinner. We decided to do a little shopping at Toys R Us. Layla had her first ride on a little ride inside the store.
Layla tried her mommy's flip flops on and was trying to walk around the house
We headed for Disney land, we slept in a little and had a late start. By the time we got there they had sold out of tickets...bummer. We decided to just hit Downtown Disney, walk around and do a little shopping.
Layla loved the flowers
and the leaves. She was having a good time.
Layla also loves drinking ice water.

On the way home from So Cal we stopped and ate at In N Out. Layla likes making music with the straws.

Just checking in on you and enjoying all the neat things on your blog. I love the childhood memories! Sheralds Burger Bar, Lassie, pink curlers and the drive in movie. I will have to ask tooter about the roof, I can only imagine! Thanks for your comment on my mom, We both are blessed with great families and we sure miss those Moms!!!!!! Have a great 4th of July
