TIMES HAVE CHANGED...

...before our eyes.
I have a basket of toys for Layla to play with when she comes to visit. The toys were from when my kids were little. Although I did send some of the toys that used to be her mommy's (Jen's) home with her a while ago. Anyway, we have these toys and Layla plays with them while she is here. There is this little yellow phone, she pulls the receiver off and puts the cord part around the back of her neck. Jen said her friend Skody taught Layla how to put a necklace on and she thinks that is what Layla is trying to do. So Layla has the cord on the back of her neck and the receiver and phone hang down the front of her and she walks around until it falls off.

Pete and I were talking and realized Layla probably doesn't even know what this toy is. They do not have a phone at their house. Jen and Jeremy both have cell phones, that's it.

So our kids went from playing with a phone like this...
...to our grandbaby playing with a phone like this.
